SonicStrategy took SYN tokens instead of cash
SonicStrategy (CSE: SONI) closed the first half of a $4.5 million placement on October 8. It issued 11,250,000 shares at $0.20, for $2,250,000, "satisfied entirely in kind" with 7,922,535 SYN tokens.
The company valued the tokens at US$0.20 each. The release also gives the 30 day volume weighted average price of SYN on Binance: about US$0.1849. By that measure, the tokens were accepted at about 8% above their market price. Existing shareholders were diluted in exchange for assets worth about 8% less at market than the price agreed.
SYN is linked to the Synapse ecosystem, which the company says includes an on-chain options platform. The tokens are held in custody controlled by the company and can be staked, used in validator operations, or sold. No warrants and no finder's fees were paid on this tranche.
Tenet Fintech raised guidance by 42%
Tenet Fintech (CSE: PKK) raised its 2026 revenue guidance to $175 million to $180 million, from $120 million to $130 million. By our arithmetic the midpoint rises about 42%. It also guided to net income of $9.5 million to $10.5 million on gross margins of 11% to 12%. The company credits demand for its supply chain services.
At margins of 11% to 12%, the new range implies about $19 million to $22 million of gross profit, by our arithmetic. Net income is the number to track.
