Two small tech deals: Miivo buys a sports adviser for CHF 288,000, Universal Digital buys three more months

Two venture-listed technology companies announced acquisition news this week. Both deals are small, and both depend on things that have not happened yet.

Miivo AI and First Five Partners

Miivo AI (TSXV: MIVO) agreed on September 29 to buy First Five Partners, a sports advisory, commercial strategy and digital transformation business whose clients include the International Olympic Committee, the International Basketball Federation and Premier Padel.

The price is CHF 288,000, about C$490,420:

• CHF 144,000 in cash at closing
• CHF 144,000 as a vendor loan note, due six months after closing

The release gives no revenue or profit figures for First Five Partners, so there is no way to say what multiple Miivo is paying. It describes the deal as arm's length and gives no closing date.

Universal Digital and pQCee

Universal Digital (CSE: LFG) moved the long stop date on its share exchange acquisition of pQCee Pte. Ltd. to December 30, 2026, from September 30. The reason given is "additional time to complete the concurrent financing and satisfy the remaining closing conditions."

Universal Digital describes itself as an investment company focused on digital assets and blockchain. The extension release does not describe pQCee's business, the financing size or the share exchange ratio.

What to watch

For Miivo, the closing and the first revenue disclosure for the combined business. For Universal Digital, the concurrent financing. Without it, the long stop date is the only thing that moved.
