Under the Glass: three May 31 year ends, three cease trades, and a halt over Ghana licences
Pantera Silver and Lions Bay Capital were cease traded on the same day for the same missing filings. CanPR has said nothing since. GoldCoast halted itself.

Venture issuers have 120 days after their year end to file audited annual statements. For a May 31 year end, by our arithmetic, that deadline was September 28. Three companies missed it.
Pantera Silver
The British Columbia Securities Commission issued a failure-to-file cease trade order against Pantera Silver (TSXV: PNTR) on October 5. Missing: audited statements for the year ended May 31, 2026, the MD&A and the officer certifications.
The company's explanation is "additional time required to obtain, reconcile and verify certain financial information" for its Bolivian entities. It gives no date beyond the "near term."
Lions Bay Capital
The same regulator issued the same order against Lions Bay Capital (TSXV: LBI) the same day, for the same May 31 filings. The cause given is "additional audit work that remains outstanding in connection with certain significant transactions and valuation matters" involving its stake in a private South African company.
The exchange suspended the shares on October 6. Lions Bay expects to file "on or before October 30, 2026." If it is not reinstated by January 5, 2027, the shares may move to the NEX board.
CanPR Technology: no news since October 5
We reported on CanPR's restatement last week. Its release adds one more detail: the Ontario Securities Commission refused a management cease trade order on September 28, citing among other things "its view regarding the liquidity of the Company's common shares." The company has issued no release since October 5. It has said it expects to file by the end of October.
GoldCoast Resource: a halt it asked for
GoldCoast Resource (CSE: GCR) requested a trading halt on October 14 until it receives "clarification from the relevant authorities of the Government of Ghana" on ten offshore reconnaissance licences held by its subsidiary.
The company says the licences "remain in full force and in good standing," and cites an October 8 statement from Ghana's Minerals Commission that they have not been cancelled, suspended or revoked. The release does not include or link that statement, and does not say why the status was questioned in the first place.
Why it matters
A failure-to-file order freezes every shareholder, not just management. Each of these releases promises filings soon. Two of them name a date: Lions Bay and CanPR, both at the end of October.
